1. Who we are
This website, silentflow.co.in, is run by Silent Flow — School of Awareness (“Silent Flow”, “we”, “us”), based in India. We are the data fiduciary for the personal data described here, under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.
2. What we collect
When you contact us. Through the contact form we collect your name, email address, the topic you choose and your message. If you email us directly, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to write.
When you browse. Like any website, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information for security and reliability: your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of the request.
What we don’t collect. We do not use cookies, analytics, advertising trackers or social media pixels. We do not ask for payment details on this website.
3. How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry, including art, programme and session enquiries.
- To arrange anything you ask us for, such as a session, a talk or an artwork.
- To keep the website secure and working properly.
- To meet our legal obligations.
We will not send you newsletters or marketing unless you separately ask us to.
4. Your consent
We process your personal data on the basis of your consent, which you give when you submit the contact form or write to us. You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing us (see section 10). Withdrawing consent does not affect anything done before you withdrew it.
5. Who we share it with
We never sell or rent your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the website and reply to you, such as our web host, email provider and form-handling service, and only as far as they need it to do that work. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
6. Third-party services on this website
To display the site, your browser loads fonts from Google Fonts and page styling from the jsDelivr content network. These services receive your IP address as part of delivering those files and handle it under their own privacy policies. Our footer and contact page link to our Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn pages; if you follow those links, their own policies apply.
7. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry messages for as long as we need them to respond to you and follow up, and in any case no longer than 24 months after our last contact, unless the law requires us to keep them longer. Server logs are kept by our host for a short period for security purposes.
8. How we protect it
The website is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and access to enquiries is limited to the people at Silent Flow who need it to respond. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable care to protect your information.
9. Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you and how we have used it;
- correct, complete or update it;
- erase it, where we no longer need it;
- withdraw your consent;
- nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf.
You also have the right to have a grievance addressed by us, and if you are not satisfied, to complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
10. Contact and grievances
For any question, request or complaint about your personal data, write to us at hello@silentflow.co.in. We will acknowledge your message promptly and respond within 30 days.
